Corbin Smith is a meticulous and pragmatic attorney who is committed to helping employers navigate legal issues with clarity. He is an associate in the firm’s Employment Litigation Group.
Before joining Payne & Fears, Corbin gained experience at a boutique law firm primarily focusing on labor and employment and insurance coverage. There, he counseled clients in insurance coverage matters and represented non-profit corporations in various employment matters, including wrongful termination litigation and wage and hour lawsuits.
Corbin earned his J.D. from Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law, where he graduated cum laude, in the top 7% of his class. While in law school, he received awards for achieving the highest grade in numerous classes including Agency & Partnership, Contracts, Constitutional Law, Criminal Procedure, Evidence, Selected Topics in American Law, Wills & Trusts, and others. Corbin also received a B.A. in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton.
