Payne & Fears Elects San Francisco Attorney Matthew Lewis to Partner

Payne & Fears LLP (P&F) has elected San Francisco attorney Matthew (“Matt”) C. Lewis to the partnership.

“Matt has acted the part of partner for some time, and we are thrilled to have him a newly minted leader now,” said Leila Narvid, Managing Partner of the firm’s San Francisco office. “Matt brings excellent labor and employment knowledge, but he also brings creative, business-minded solutions to his clients.”

Matt C. Lewis joined P&F as an associate in March 2016. He is a member of the firm’s Employment Litigation Group.

He focuses on representing management in employment law and traditional labor law matters before state and federal courts as well as various administrative agencies. His practice includes handling all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage-and-hour disputes. Matt also advises and counsels clients on a wide range of employment and labor relations issues in an effort to avoid litigation in the first place.

Before joining Payne & Fears, Matt worked for the labor and employment practice group of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton. He began his career at Meyers Nave, representing public agency employers throughout California in labor and employment issues.
