Karen Kirollos is a skilled and detail‑driven attorney who combines strategic thinking with meticulous preparation. She is an associate in the firm’s Employment Litigation and Business Litigation Group.

Before joining Payne & Fears, Karen represented fortune 500 homebuilders and corporations in complex business and commercial litigation including breach of contract claims, employment disputes, and construction defect matters.

Karen earned her J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where she was active in student organizations such as the Middle Eastern and South Asian Law Student Association and the First Generation Professionals Group. While pursuing her law degree, Karen completed over 255 hours of clinical work with the Intellectual Property, Arts, and Technology Clinic, where she provided legal services to independent journalists and nonprofit organizations throughout California. Her contributions supported the successful resolution of a wrongful arrest case, resulting in a $500,000 settlement. Karen graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, San Diego with a B.A. in Sociology: Law and Society.

Outside the office, Karen enjoys attending group fitness classes, baking, and reading psychological thrillers.
