Brandon McClenning is a strategic and detail-oriented attorney who approaches litigation with analytical precision and practical judgment, enabling him to deliver efficient, results-driven solutions. He is an associate in the firm’s Employment Litigation Group.

Before joining Payne & Fears, Brandon gained experience across a range of litigation and corporate matters. He drafted substantive motions, conducted detailed legal research, and assisted in the development of litigation strategy. He also advised companies on corporate matters, including entity formation and dissolution, regulatory compliance, and corporate restructuring and cleanup.

Brandon earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he graduated with a concentration in Business and Corporate Law and was actively involved in student organizations such as the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and the Golf Law Society. During law school, Brandon served as a research assistant to a nationally recognized constitutional law attorney where he examined and analyzed foundational approaches to constitutional interpretation. Furthermore, Brandon assisted in the preparation and due diligence for an initial public offering (IPO) at a biotechnology company, which launched at an approximate $110 million valuation. Brandon graduated summa cum laude from California Lutheran University with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Outside the office, Brandon enjoys golfing, snowboarding, visiting the beach, and exploring new restaurants throughout Orange County. In the fall, he can be found cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
