Jessica Vidal has joined Payne & Fears LLP as an associate attorney. She will practice within the Employment Law Group and will be based in the firm’s Irvine office.
Jessica represents and advises employers in all labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage-and-hour law, and Private Attorneys General Act (“PAGA”) claims.
Jessica graduated from Loyola Law School in 2019. During law school, Jessica was a member of the St. Thomas More Honor Society, a Justice on the Scott Moot Court Honors Board, and a certified law student representative at the Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic.

Prior to joining Payne & Fears, Jessica was a Litigation associate at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, practicing in labor and employment litigation, and complex commercial litigation. Clients appreciate Jessica’s responsiveness and practical approach in meeting their business needs.
Jessica is a New York native and enjoys cooking and watching Broadway musicals. Jessica is also fluent in Spanish.

What activities do you enjoy outside of work?
Cooking new recipes, trying new restaurants, cycling by the beach, and attending Zumba or spin classes.
Why did you join Payne & Fears LLP?
I was looking to grow my labor and employment practice while efficiently serving clients’ employment needs. I was also very impressed by how hard working, intelligent and friendly the attorneys are at this firm.

Despite being a New York native, I am a fan of contemporary country music. My roommates during a summer internship on Capitol Hill introduced me to country music and I was hooked! I even had the pleasure of visiting Nashville, a.k.a. “Music City,” during law school.
