The Real Deal of Succeeding as a Minority Attorney

Leila Narvid, Partner and Chair of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, will be a panelist at “The Real Deal of Succeeding as a Minority Attorney.” We are proud to host this event for the California Minority Counsel Program’s (CMCP) Ambassador’s Council on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. 

Session Description: 

Working twice as hard may not be enough. Minority attorneys face unique challenges. So how to succeed while keeping it real? A panel of accomplished minority attorneys, including a Superior Court Judge, will talk frankly about the challenges of navigating stereotypes, cultural differences, potential bias, over-commitment, and other hurdles, and provide their tips and wisdom on how to make a path toward a sustainable and fulfilling career in law.
