Conference of California Bar Associations (CCBA) Elects Scott O. Luskin to Board of Directors

September 18, 2018 – Los Angeles, Calif. – Payne & Fears LLP congratulates Los Angeles Managing Partner Scott O. Luskin in his new leadership role as a Board Member of the Conference of California Bar Associations (CCBA). Scott was sworn in Saturday, September 15, 2018, while attending the conference as part of the Los Angeles County Bar Association delegation.

This year’s CCBA Conference was held in downtown San Diego from September 13 – 16. The annual conference has participants engaging in high-quality debates over resolutions authored by their peers that touch on every aspect of law. Every resolution that passes the Conference is eligible for inclusion in the annual legislative program. Since 2010 over 100 chaptered bills originated from CCBA resolutions, which is an unparalleled record of achievement for a single organization.

Scott O. Luskin is a partner in the Business Litigation Group and Managing Partner of the firm’s Los Angeles office. Scott focuses on complex commercial and business litigation and represents a wide range of clients, including individuals, various types of business entities, non-profit hospitals and large corporations. He has experience in all aspects of business litigation, including law and motion practice, alternative dispute resolution and trial.
