Rana Ayazi represents and advises employers in all labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour law.
Prior to joining Payne & Fears, Rana served as a judicial law clerk at the Los Angeles Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. At the EEOC, she wrote hearing decisions and grants of summary judgment with detailed findings of fact and conclusions of law for federal sector claims arising under Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, the Rehabilitation Act, and other federal employment statutes.
Rana is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, where she was awarded the Robert S. Feldman Labor Law Award, an award that goes to the graduating student who has done the most in the field of labor and employment law. Rana also has been recognized by Yale Law School, the University of Michigan Law School, and the Detroit Legal News for her work with immigrants.
