Daniel M. Livingston is the Chair of the firm’s Business Litigation Group. Mr. Livingston specializes in business and real estate litigation. He has successfully handled hundreds of civil litigation matters involving a wide range of commercial issues, and has tried numerous cases to verdict, judgment or arbitration award.
Mr. Livingston has been consistently named as a Super Lawyer by vote of attorneys in Southern California and was recognized as one of the Top 50 Super Lawyers in Orange County in 2007. He is the immediate past Chair of the Business Litigation Section of the Orange County Bar Association, and is a member of the Board of Governors of the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. Mr. Livingston has authored articles for the Orange County Lawyer and the Brigham Young University Law Review, for which he also served as an Associate Editor.
Mr. Livingston currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Lincoln Club of Orange County. He is the former President and Member of the California New Motor Vehicle Board, a former member of the California Medical Board and a former Director of the Newport Beach Library Foundation.
Prior to joining Payne & Fears LLP, Mr. Livingston was an associate in the litigation department at O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles.
